Figured it would not hurt to ask.
Need a single shot follower for a short action CENTER feed.
This guy is fabricating them. Don't have any experience with them though.
I got a 3D printed one from @andrewsben on this forum.
@urbanrifleman might be able to make you one as well.
SSS makes a good one $20
Well it has been a long time since I had an eBay account. Have another one now.
If it works or doesn’t I will let all know.
I can’t be the only one wanting these.
The link I sent the OP is for Andrews Ebay store.
P.S.....Anyone want to buy a couple Savage "STAGGER" feed followers...LoL
These are made by me. 3D printed and fit really well. I can do one that matches contour of the action or that has a box underneath for blind magazine inletted stocks.
Gradually reading through the messages on this thread and replying as I go through... Should have your follower on the way tomorrow. Thanks for trying it out. Was just something I made for personal use and thought others could use as well. I couldn't find any followers that allowed me to use a benchrest stock without any magazine inletting, so designed one myself.
I bought one from him for mine, very happy with results. Very easy to fab and fit. Great guy to deal with.
Made by a shooter for a shooter always seems to work well.
Just ordered the Long action one off Ebay for a 110 FP in 308
will have it out tomorrow, thanks. Thought i would get it out today but wife cleaned my office, and although it looks great now, the pieces i had printed are no longer on my desk, under the specific pile of stuff, next to the other pile of stuff. I had a system of organized chaos...
I am happy and very impressed. I will say I have seen pics of the 3D printed stuff I have never had my hands on any of it. Spare extra action was handy, it fits great.
I am back to work messing with flood issues. So may be a while before I get time to tear a rife down and install.
I will post up when I do get time.
A1+ on getting it to me quick.
Thanks again. Hope you can get everything cleaned up and back to normal. We had some low lying areas flood lately but luckily it crested about 1' from going over top of the bank before having a dropping elevation through all of my hometown. Here in Kentucky it has been one of the wettest periods I can remember.
