trying to find out who makes rings for this action... thanks!
I have a couple pair by Kelbly’s. They are extremely well made and repeat to very close to zero when removed.
I am a fan of the rings from Harrell's. Quality craftsmanship. Quality materials. Several models available, including offset rings for BR shooting. Quite reasonable pricing. I had these on a 2007/2013 and they were awesome. Still have sets on some Match 54 action rifles. Be sure to check them out.
BKL check them out. Fairly priced. Brownells stocks them.
Any kin to the PACKERS old bruising fullback of years gone ? He made Paul Horning look good.
I use the bkl one piece mount, would work on the action in front of the port. Simple, noting to come loose and can't get two rings in a bind.
Another vote for BKLs.
The bases for BKL are virtually impossible to tighten evenly. Try with an indicator and you'd likely never consider them for serious BR work.
If you Lapp them, they never end up in the same place twice.
Kelbly's. 'nuf said.
No, we aren't related.... Sure wish I got to meet him though, as a lot of people ask the same question, especially since I grew up around Chicago.
