22 Nosler is a scaled-down Creedmore. The length dimensions, measured from the base (to shoulder, neck, mouth) are all slightly more than 90% scale Creedmore. The diameters (except the rebated rim) all slightly less than 90% scale.
If you take the SAAMI drawing of the Creedmore and select "actual size", then take the 22 Nosler drawing (from their web site) and zoom it 220%, print them both out, and overlay them on a window, they are practically identical in form (except for the rebated rim.)
There are discrepancies on the Nosler web site WRT case capacities. On the main 22 Nosler page, they state:
"The 22 Nosler case holds 34.2gr H2O at overflow, and 31.2gr H2O with a 55gr Ballistic Tip® seated to 2.260” OAL"
But on their "Load Data" under 55-gr Ballistic Tip (seated to OAL 2.260"), they state:
"CASE HOLDS: 34.7 Gr. WATER"
I contacted Nosler last week, using their web form, asking for clarification, but of course I have received no response.
I'm calling Nosler now, will update ...
PS
When I called Nosler, I selected "product information or technical help", was informed I was "first in line" by the recording, and was put on hold for 5 minutes, listening to some pretty guitar music, after which I got a recorded message "Hello, this is so-and-so, I am out of the office until 6 Februrary..."
<sigh>
