I think small fishing swivels will work well

I don't know what it's called, but it sure is nifty. If I invented it, I'd call it an ACME Klatch. :) jd

    Thanks Gary, that's it!!!
Never in my life would I have looked in a fishing catalog. Looked in every industrial and fastener catalog I could find.
    Obviously I don't fish.

From an avid walleye chaser...snap lock it is! Little more useful for attaching crank baits. "Fishing 101" up here in the land of 10,000 lakes. Probably could have found them in Walmart. "Fishing"... a much more relaxing past-time then the hours we spend in the reloading room! LOL Eric in DL

Years ago I spent many a night fishing from my airboat with a bow and arrow.
Learned my lesson about night fishing. I would leave the house headed to the lake. My then wife would leave the house right after me. She was fishing for two legged trouser trout.

Academy may have some. The bigger ones you can find at Fishing Tackle Unlimited on the Gulf Frwy. The bigger ones are for offshore fishing.

Guy crawls outa bed early one morning to go fishing. Opens the garage door and gets hit in the face by a freezing, sideways rain storm.

Thinks to himself, "The Hell with this." and lowers the door and goes back inside.

He gets undressed and slides in bed beside his warm naked wife. Snuggles up to her and whispers, "It's absolutely miserable outside."

She whispers back, "Yeah, can ya believe that asshole went fishing this morning?"

It is a snap for a long line. Commercial fishing supplier. I have some on my desk. Not to expensive and tough as nails.

The link gary provided had them for 4.99 for 36. Now that I know what they are, I will look at Academy here in Huntsville first, then order online if need be.
I knew Francis would know. Should have emailed him first

Gosh. Don't know a snap lock? Some are made with swivels. Call them snap swivels. Common fishing gear and come in many sizes.
