Shot near Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
What a toad! Whatever day that was shot should become a deer Holiday.
….. and calf, sheep, and goat. Seriously big cat!
Man that's big, glad we don't have those things around here, nice job!
Looks like in his previous 8 lives he ate very well. That is a seriously big cat.
You may have and it just hasn't been gotten yet, for almost ten years now this area has been getting lions in the 200lb range when our normal has always been the 150lb or so range. This one was taken with the basic 5.56/.223 AR15 while out shed hunting. He is a local who comes into our store from time to time.
Darwin, that is massive... congrats!
Gotta love the big cats! Very cool!
El Grandy …………….
Don’t know if I would walk in the woods knowing something like that might be sitting on a limb...
And I was picturing something entirely different from the posting title.
Now, that is a big kitty!
Cats are a common occurrence in these parts, big ones too. My buddy John with a large cat shot with his Mini-14 here while out shed hunting. It was in a cave peering out at him from 8 or 10 yards away, one shot put an end to a possible 'cat launch' post haste.... (note: bogus time stamp)
Another buddy who has shot many here on his ranch, most of them treed and shot with his old Marlin 22WMR with his hounds.
Moral: If you live out of city limits (thank God!), then cats are always a consideration.
That is one heck of a cat, they show up on game cameras from time to time around here and I see one occasionally here on the farm but they never give you a chance to get the cross hairs on them and they are nothing like the size of that one. The ones that I have seen here in Arkansas I would guess at around 100, maybe a little more. It's a SSSU situation here so I don't think anyone ever weighed one.
Lion hunting in North America.
That looks like an escapee from some zoo. HUGE.
That is one huge kitten. Looks like JUST the "picture" would weight over 10#!!!
Good job, keep dropping 'em.
Being a cat lover........... But, he probably wouldn't ask for my Cat Club Card before making me an elderly snack
That ol' boy is HUGE. I just hope he munched on a wolf or two along the way.
Lions like that OWN the area they live in, just a monster. Heck 2 of me could fit in its belly!
I don't think I want to go camping anymore. I thought a black bear in a dumpster by my tent was scary.
