Does warner still build sights ? I’ve tried contacting them but I can’t seem to reach them !
I believe the current answer is "No". My understanding is that they have suspended production for the time being. I hope I am wrong, so you might want to call them to confirm.
Ok thank you
There should be a caveat after that ‘yes’ though.
Last year they announced they were ‘suspending’ production of new sights. Reason inferred being that as US NRA had made optics legal for match rifles the market for new sights has shrunk significantly.
Used Warners that get put up for sale don’t stay up for too long, #2’s (longer windage screws, most useful for long range) have brought upwards of $600 recently.
I have been on a waiting list for a new Warner for over a year, as have 4 other guys I shoot palma with. No joy so far and really none expected. I ask guys on the US Palma Team and they don’t even know if he will make anymore. I would suggest you buy a Phoenix, so you have something to shoot and get on the wait list.
Thank you mike !
Anyone shoot the Phoenix ? How are they in comparison with the Warner or is it no comparison?
Medesha has a pair of used Warner's on ebay right now.
Phoenix doesn't have them on their website, not sure what that's about.
Champions Choice has some PNW's in stock.
Creedmoor Sports sells Phoenix sights: https://www.creedmoorsports.com/category/s?keyword=phoenix
I have both Warner and Phoenix and both work just fine in my experience. There are minor differences, but I am happy with the Phoenix.
Phoenix makes good sights, I have several and have never had any issues.
Ok I just seen them on the creedmoor site ....I’ll get one . Thank you all for the info appreciated !
I have a couple extra warner #1 right hand match direction side mount sights and will sell one. Call or text me for pictures. 504-491-2511. Barry.
Phoenix only makes the top mount sight now, no more side mounts. I have them on both of my tube guns. I felt lucky to find a very lightly used side mount for my conventional stock rifle. I like them.
Thanks jim I have a rpa tracker now but I’m building a new tr rifle ... warner was my first choice but I hearblot of good things about the Phoenix so I’ll try one . The only thing though is the adjustments are opposite of the rpa .
Phoenix's are made with either match or service direction knobs.
thats great thanks
