Tough winds! NW, 10-23 mph right now!

Nice temps though, balmy 72F... compared to 12F outside my door.

Looks like USA 3rd by a few points. The 1000yd line was the hard line :(

But Brandon Green did not drop ANY pts. !!!!!!

Wind running 6 to 10 minutes at 1000 yds. Everybody was dropping points but it looks like the Brits may have gotten 2nd. Proud of the US team though. A number of new faces and good attitudes.

    Congratulations Australia,

Winning every yard line except the first 800, a consistently great performance that wins championships!

Perhaps Australia is the place to go if you want an education on reading the wind. Their score compared to the other teams was vastly superior. It's really mind boggling that Australia beat the Brits by 77 points and sadly the USA by 96 points. And so it goes....

It may be that they are more familiar with the range than other foreigners.

The Aussies were great, definitely a cut above. Their shooters are awesome, and their coaches are as good as they get. They are also great people, and gracious winners. Their success down here was well-earned.

Yes, I guess 19 points can be called a few points....and certainly Green did clean it...on the 2nd day.

When will the matches return to the Northern Hemisphere?
