Some good shooters showed up for the first ever UBR match at Thurmont yesterday. Dean Breeden and Hillary Martinez did a great job preparing for and executing the match.

Some very good scores were shot, but at the end of the day no one had anything for Kevin Donalds, JR. He took the 200 and the grand agg, with Josh Shrum edging him out in the 100. Congrats guys!

Next UBR match at Thurmont is June 29th and 30th. Come and have some fun in your choice of factory, modified, custom or unlimited class. This is great format for those that are curious.

Sorry. I don’t know what class everyone was shooting. I was on the far right and I believe everyone over there was shooting a custom.

I’m pretty sure it’s a 517 by the late Mike Niblett, a great shooter and wonderful man.

Correct on all counts. The Custom Class 100/200 GA records was set on July 19, 2014 by Mike Niblett. IIRC- it was a night shoot at Buck Creek. He also set the Custom Class 200 yd record of 255 on the same night.

Was nice to meet you too! Sorry about your name spelled wrong. I've fixed it now. Hope to see you at our Bud Pryor match in June.
