Anyone ever seen one of these? They seem pretty scarce.
I've looked, I could never find one
I've seen 'em......but not recently
Just buy an 85 Sako........
$10 shipping !
I have had very good success with Tikka and accuracy out of the box.
Varmint madels are good for sustained shooting but are a bit heavier, more than I care to pack for walking/hiking calling.
Many Tikka add ons are now available aftermarket.
Tikka is offering $150 Beretta bucks til the 31st.
I also watched for that super varmint model for years and never have seen one available in the USA. Definitely a unicorn.
Not in that caliber, seen one in a 308 a few years ago.
Did you see the video,( mind bending accuracy ) ? 204 Tikka @ 700 yds.
Was the Super Varmint ever imported?
I know I wanted a 204 awhile back and was told by Beretta USA they don’t import that model.
Assuming you’re talking the stainless/adjustable comb Varmint model: They were imported up until several years back. A dealer in Minnesota - can’t recall the name (begins with “K”), but I believe the same outfit that brought in those Mexican-market CZ 527 .222 Varmints - had some maybe five years ago. Getting old(!), but I think I may have even had the wheels turning towards buying one from them, but lucked into a CZ Varmint Kevlar instead.
I think Canada still gets those neat Super Varmints in .243 Win. too, but (to me) it looks like a great big hassle to bring one in either chambering down here these days.
FWIW: Jaqua’s Guns (Findlay OH) is another large retailer of Tikka/Sako. They could tell you when/if any of the “regular” .204 Tikka Varmints might be imported.
Separate names with a comma.
