Well even thought the current Ackley is a great idea I just shortened mine up 62 thousands an I like what iam seeing on paper an load density I always ran my 6mm dasher at 2970 fps any way I am getting the same velocity node the gun wants to shoot with about 1.4 grs less powder. PS my measurement at 2oo line is about .471 an some changeView attachment 997716
No false shoulder, load 6BR and shoot. What is the difference between this and BRDX?
Thanks
I believe my shoulder is 1.138 at shoulder junction brdx is about 1.165 if that helps. I read a post Sam Hall said somewhere whether it is a dasher or something different if you don't have a good barrel an really good bullets it does not matter what you are shooting if I primarily shot 600 hundred yards I would have shortened my case to what tim claunch is playing with but I shoot both 600 an 1000 an I want just a little bit more an its all about R and D that's what drives us all hopefully a better mouse trap.LOLWhat is the difference between this and BRDX?
Thanks
Dasher speeds with less powder !!

I think this reamer print is real close to Sam hall 6mm Ackley an tim claunch.Same dimensions as my Dashers, just shorter......
What sort of load do you shoot for fire forming? Is accuracy decent? Thanks
This print shows a lead with 2degree 30minThe other thing to think about is Sam Halls original was based on a BRDX which is 0.462-3 at the shoulder and a Dasher 0.460 at the shoulder, so depending on what dies you plan to use this something to consider.
I have attached my print, which I sent to Whidden and dies dies made to suit. Works very well.
