So I load for a few different 6.5’s
And when I tumble them in my SS media some of it gets stuck across the neck opening. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a different media that is recommended?
    Thank you for the help.

This is not an uncommon problem. You can get Stainless Steel Chips or other types of SS media, see: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=stainles...s,209&ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_24&tag=accuratescom-20

The 'football' shaped media won't get stuck in the necks or flash holes.

There are always a few short pins in any batch. Use a needle nose pliers to remove the pins stuck in the necks and throw those pins away. After a few runs with that batch of pins you will have eliminated the problem pins.
Don't forget to check your primer pockets too.

Precisely why I switched from pins to chips from Sleeping Giant. I'd get up to 4 and 5 pins stuck sideways in a neck, multiply that times 100 cases and it's pretty dang frustrating

Dusty has that correct. Sleeping Giant has some SS media that is smaller in size and does not stick in the necks or flash/primer hole. Good price's also.

Great advice from Dusty! I've been using the chips from Sleeping Giant for several years, great stuff and have never had a problem since switching. I still check every case and have never found a chip in any case I've cleaned.

Try tumbling without the SS media, just Dawn & Lemishine. You may get the results you need, but not shiny brass. I no longer use the SS media when re-prepping my PD shoot brass and it has worked well.

Changed from regular pins that always got stuck in Dasher brass to these, never a problem.
