Holy cow, I think they need to make Scott shoot in the Open class!
Both Scott and his "finer side" shoot very well indeed! Scott is "off the charts" at this match! GREAT JOB Scott and Christine!
Do you suppose that they practiced pair firing together?
Interestingly enough there’s about 3 or 4 times as many sling shooters as F class at this match
That's probably because the F-Class nationals start Sunday. With what appears to be 478 entrants, many of them registered twice. If mid-range and long-range were separate registrations that would explain that.
This match traditionally is for sling-shooters, why there's so many. F'Nats starts after; they folks shooting scopes now are there for practice as much as anything else.
450 28x for Jim Oconnell well done!
Congratulations to the winners, Trudy Fay in particular - another overall win for her this year!
Here’s hoping everyone has an uneventful, safe trip home.
Just a reminder to all of the competitors in Raton. Clean your bolt and action lugs each day. The wind and dust get into everything.
And it doesn’t in North Dakota?
It was stupid windy in North Dakota...... shot two day there and it really needed to be cleaned at the end of the second day. Didn't seem as dusty as Raton, but my bolt was telling a different story.
