RPR barrels at brownells $280

    I’m not sure about those barrels but my Gen 1 RPR is way too heavy for a calling rifle.

    Thing is my factory barrel gave me around a for real .75 moa with good handloads. The high end single point cut at $550.00 is only giving .65. If I could save 550-280=$270 I might be ok with the extra .10". Mike

    is this a bbl. for a rattle gun,,,???.....if you are getting ~.6-.7" groups I would be happy,,,Roger

    I'm curious to see who makes these for Brownells as well. Nice to see an option for a lower cost pre-fit barrel.

    It's been hard to justify a $500-$600 barrel for my RPR when my "cheap 'n cheerful" Savage can screw on a Shilen or McGowan for a couple hundred less.

    I saw some speculation on another forum that the Brownells barrels were made by Criterion.
