    Folks,

I am in the middle of a build, my action is on its way from Idaho, the barrels are in the safe and my next acquisition is the stock.

I going with a MBR Tracker design in a laminate. I dont know, but maybe its due to the fact I live with 3 women/girls, but I am having a conundrum trying to decide which color combo to go with. With that said, at the top of todays list I may go with the Red/Black, or a Blue/Black, or a Brown/Black, or a Rosewood/Black. Would love to see something in a Emerald Green/Black if made. I have perused the rimfire sight that shows almost any color combo possible for a 10/22 and would really like to see the color combos in 600/1K setup.

So, show me your laminate pride and joys, please.. ,yes, I have looked at the "gun of the week" many times..

    Thanks Folks..

    Rod

    Here's a few different colors--
I'll make mine smaller so they don't take up so much room.

    Here ya go,
Same shot with different lighting and background.
The stock is a blank I got from Carl Bernosky, black/blue laminate. I did the finish work myself.
    Thanks,
    Lloyd

German thanks for that post... the first Veteran's Palma rifle that gunsmith made was a masterpeice and the second lives up to expectations.

MikeCC & German, beautiful rigs, thanks for sharing.. Norcalmikie, well?? Lets just say, its a bit "Fou-Fou" for my taste. Besides, Russo already warned me about some guy with a pink stocked gun.. :D.

Doan is a great guy and a super gunsmith. Here's more galleries of his work. Heck the pictures are art as much as the stocks!

Rod: One thing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;) If you ever loose it, it wouldn't be hard to find!
4 or 5 coats of Automotive Clear Coat will bring out the texture and color of "any" stock and it's almost bullet proof.
I've got a couple more that I'll get pictures of and get them posted.
Joel has the other half of that "San Francisco Camo" blank if you want a stock in that color! :D

Dave, I like that light color look! What types of wood are in the laminate?
