Thankfully nobody got hurt, it was a real rabbit warren in there. Maybe now they'll move into a decent facility or at least build a new one. Literally could not swing a cat in there.

Wow...very sorry to hear this. Losing the place you work out of is no joke!! At least no one got hurt physically. Prayers for a speedy recovery. Sure hope he has good insurance, especially for the folks with parts and actions there.

Very dubious, Brookings is not a hot spot for tree huggers and gun grabbers. Jealous husband or spurned women would be my conspiracy theory.
Or the stress relieve furnace shit the bed.

I hope that they had adequate insurance to replace all of the equipment and the facility. It would be a shame if they folded up because of this.

I had them barrel an action several years ago. The gunsmith called me with some questions. I got the impression that he was an independent gunsmith and PacNor subletted to him. Again, this was years ago and things may have changed.

Pac-Nor offered a dizzying list of calibers and twists. And the reamer assortment was impressive. What a shame.

This is indeed a sad thing, and a loss to the custom barrel market. I own one of their barrels and love it. Planed with keeping any future business with them.

It is a small world out here in the west, and a couple months ago I made a delivery to a fella who makes barrel liners. In chatting with him he mentioned that the owner of PacNor was a good friend of his. They had worked together on stuff over the years, and he had nuthin but good to say about those folks. jd
