Bullets.com is out of Norma Dasher brass. I have a good friend who would like to build one for a varmint rifle. Does anyone have any idea when or if any dealers are going to stock it?

You may want to try to get ahold of Shiraz and see if he has info. Or recommend going with a "straight 6 BR" or 6 BRA as another member recommended. - For a Varmint rifle the regular 6 mm BR & 80 or 88 gr. Berger's do pretty darn well.

I emailed Graf and Sons today asking if they are stocking the Norma 6 Dasher brass. I received the following reply: "
Hello,

That is an exclusive caliber we are not able to stock it at this time."

I thought the man shiraz said they were going to sell it- do they just not know yet?

I sure wouldnt waste a good barrel on Varmints unless it was minimum quantity of shots at long distance. In varmints I am thinking PDs. If thats the targets, get a 20cal rifle for volume shooting and save the 6mm for long distance. JMHO. LDS

He sold it all off during the bullets.com phasing over to Grizzley. He had said it was going to be available from other Norma dealers but apparently that hasn't happened yet.

Here out west varmints can be anything from 6oz ground squirrels to coyotes. For high volume squirrels, yes, a 17 or 20 is ideal. In some places we can shoot rock chucks as far as you can see them. A super accurate 6mm is an excellent choice for long range varmint work.
