Thauglor the Vudoo does not bump the chamber when chambering. It goes in straight. It's one of its selling points. If you could see it in person you would understand. There is a video on it in slow motion. I will try to find it.

He doesn't beleive me, and I *own* one. He's convinced he knows more than Paul Parrott the CEO and Mike Bush the chief engineer.

There's no helpin' such folk. They already know everything. And they *refuse* to back down and quit.

Ha! I figured it out! Yay me!
Kinda proud of myself. After all, I am a dinosaur . . . brain the size of a walnut and all that.

Please do Rob, I'm genuinely not understanding how it can pivot the rim under the extractors without other end not being constrained somehow.

Thanks Danoh, that is a neat little rifle

Thanks. Arrow points to lever that pushes cartridge up into bolt face completely, bullet doesn’t touch chamber at all on the way in.

Well it's safe to say that Vudoo can't patent 'straight-in' feeding, especially since the idea is inherently obvious and Mossberg (possibly others too) did it first.

Vudoo can definitely patent their way they get the cartridge to feed in straight. If Bergara has still a different method, it's not an infringement.

Patent law does suck because you have to disclose exactly how you're doing the thing, and someone can take your patent and make changes based on technicalities and if it still functions, they effectively stole your idea and get to use it. Patent law also sucks because companies can patent all kinds of basic obvious crap and chase out smaller competitors who don't have $50k laying around to fund their entirely defensible case. So sometimes money alone wins.

Vudoo did not patent the round going straight in. It patented their V22 action and their magazine design. Both of which work together to give you the first.

Also the "smaller" competitor here is Vudoo who has the patent.

The magazine pushes the round up into dual claws on the bolt face that hold the round and feed it straight into the chamber.

As was said ... ONCE you actually see it, it will make sense.

Wow. What I have read here - other than the minute useful information about a new rifle - is an argument between folks without a dog in the fight. Let it play out. The end results will be beyond our control. No fret, no sweat.

I was searching applications as well. In any case if you find it I’m curious to read about the design.

Can order a Vudoo direct from Vudoo. I think it's about a 6 week lead time now.

I had a text a few days ago from one of the guys who shoots with the same semi-local club where I shoot, asking if I could sell him a V-22 bbl'd action. When I checked VGW's website, they were showing 5-6 bbl'd actions in stock, so unless they haven't updated the site lately, there are some that should be immediately available.

For those that own this rifle, what Make/Model of Picatinny rail have you purchased and installed on your B-14R. I would like at least 30MOA.
