I have the F Open results for the first day of individual competition. I'm not a computer person, so I'm not sure how to upload pictures. Danny Biggs and Jim Murphy both at 444, Bob Sebold 443, William Wittman 442, John Dunbar 441. Dan Lentz with a big lead in F-TR with 442.

Another day of interesting conditions. Danny Biggs figured something out though. Agg after 2 days has him with a good lead, at 891-40, Jim Murphy 883-32, Bob Sebold and Stephen Krauss tied 882-37, John Dunbar 882-36, Mike Jakubczak 880-37. 5 shooters very tight behind him. William Wittman and Beau Hood only a few points back of them. Dan Lentz had another good day in F-TR, maintaining his lead. Ken Klemm and Jim Grissom had a good day, for 2nd and 3rd. 2 more days of individual left, then our long range state championship this weekend.

Danny certainly does have something figured out and it's been for a while. He knows how to hit the target center.

Day 3 agg. Danny Biggs 1337-65, Bob Sebold 1330-67, john Dunbar 1329-66, Stephan Krauss 1329-58, Jim Murphy 1326-56, Beau Hood 1325-64, maybe it's Bo, I should ask him. Mike Jacubczak 1324-57, William Wittman 1322-59, Rhys Ireland 1317-57, Joe Meyer 1317-49. That's the top ten with one more day to go. Dan Lentz is still shooting good, and holding his F-TR lead. Jim Grissom and Ken Klemm also shooting good, and hanging right behind. Top shooter today was Brian Mudd.

Being that it's a Palma competition, I should also mention that in the sling group, (which is huge) Randy Pike shot a clean 450-28 today!

They hadn't posted totals when I left, but had today's scores. Grand aggs released at the banquet. I did some calculations and here is what I came up with. Danny Biggs 1929-95, John Dunbar 1924-82, Bob Sebold 1923-94, Stephan Krauss 1920-83, Jim Murphy 1918-85. On the F-TR side, Dan Lentz 1900-59, Brian Mudd 1872-52, Jim Grissom 1871-44.

I'm rooting for Steve Krauss. He lives along the south shore of Tampa Bay and has been prepping for the shoot. Steve said he hoped to earn a higher class. Sure hope he does.

    Thanks for the updates.

    YEAH!

That's what he wanted. We normally have an "IBS STYLE" paper shoot the last Saturday of the month. No shoot today because Steve was becoming a "high master".

Manatee will never be the same with a master-class shooter running things.

We're shooting our long range state championship this weekend. A Palma course today and 2-20 shot strings from 1000 tomorrow. I didn't get to stick around for 1st day aggs to get posted, because I was running late for my granddaughters first birthday party. I took a quick glance through scores. From what I saw, Pat Scully is leading with a 449, John Dunbar 445, myself and Bo Hood 444, and 6-8 others at 442.

Mike, they didn't have a total agg posted at the range today, I will ask tomorrow. Otherwise Karen will get the finals posted on the club website in a week or so. I take it that you made it home safe. It's always nice to meet shooters from here, and put a face to a name.
