If i screwed up im sorry,i think i got some timers. Have to write every thing down.
For your penance then, write the serial numbers of your timers down.
It's all good.
Now what was the discussion?
Last week I forgot a guys last name I've known for 36 yrs
Writing everything down is a good thing ! Now too find what I wrote down..gets tuff...coming from a guy who has Amnesia.
I sent my kids a funny fart video today and my daughter says, “you’re sending us that again?”
Sure enough, I had sent it to them yesterday and had forgotten
Senile old fart forgets he sent funny fart video
post-it notes are my friend
and voltarin gel
and 2.0 reading glasses
and hearing aids
and ..... no, not yet i'm still good there
I clean off my reloading bench I put my dasher dies Away
That evening I fell and broke my shoulder
The trama and the medication for pain I cannot remember where I put them
I have narrowed it down to three spots
But my shoulder isn’t working good enough to check
If I quit anything for 3 days it's like I've got to start all over.
Keeping good notes is so important for me .... Being able to make sense of them is a whole nother problem !
Dayam, if I don't resemble most of those remarks. But I'm still stuffing and punching paper. Itsa good day!
I walked into a room today and remembered why I was there. It was a good day!
Where’s my skill saw... I need to cut some steel pipe and think I left my striker with saw. Wait it’s 4x4 treated post. I need my file. What day is it.
My wife puts stuff away in a new place all the time and forgets where. Me, I can’t move anything from where it was or I can’t find it again. It only takes a few inches and it’s LOST!!!
I make lists. it works!
Only if you can find the list.
Dry erase board in reloading room is the only thing keeping me even remotely on track....
My bane in life is the "safe place".........
Just this morning I went to move a truck that'd been setting for a couple mo. It needs a belt, it's squealing.
I have 7 of these trucks, all identical, so's when I need something fixed I know how.
So LAST time I did the belt job, just a couple weeks ago on another truck, I had to round up all the proper tools and it took a while sooooooo, I put 3 new belts and all the necessary tools into a dedicated box, WROTE on the side and
"put it in a safe place"......
DA'gum if I could find that place this morning.
Went and bought another belt.....
The world's shortest pencil is better than the world's longest memory ....
I must agree: WRITE IT DOWN!!!!!
Iittle 3×4 composition books and a mechanical pencil work. I lie to myself all the time...'I'll remember that'....not unless I write it down.
I have gotten better at putting things away...I have 'type' storage. If it 's electrical/electronic it goes here. Plumbing goes over there, woodworking, well I'm still working on that, too many tool types; planes, saws, hammers, etc. Only one anvil tho.
Now if I could figger how to use 1/4" keys here with 1/2" fingers without having to go back for corrections......
Sounds like we are married to the same woman...or at least sisters. It drives me nuts.
I don't know if she is just good at finding things, or she has several spares in various places to take its place.
