Long range BR scope options/suggestions

All,
As the match director for 600 yard BR, I get asked all sort of questions I do not know the answer to.
One I get asked a lot is,
“I’m having a new rifle built to shoot with you guys, what do you recommend?”
My usual reply is March, Kahles 10x50, Vortex GE, and NF BR scopes.
What are the top 2 or 3 scopes today?

Today, I told a friend I think the Kahles 10x50 or March get the green light.
What do you think?

Thanks

The scopes I’ve shot with are nf comp, March 40-60, nf br 12-42 and sightron 10-50.

If somebody’s on a budget that sightron works quite well. A used 12-42 is also nice.

The glass on the comp and March 40-60 HM are nicer but they cost twice as much. They are also both very light so you can have more weight in the rest of the gun.

Any of those four as long as they hold zero would make for a competitive scope.

I will hold my breath and see what others say,
but the 12-42nf should be enough for 600 and has a good record
in the scope testing that was done here ..somewhere.

These guy will also be shooting 1000 yard competitions.
My bad for not pointing that out in the original post.

I had a March HM, focus box is tricky
Had a 7-42 Leupold which I liked, but windage was 1/4moa
Got 2 NF comp’s with no complaints

I just bought a Trijicon AccuPower 5-50x56
I can only compare it to a GE and Sightron SIII
I would say it's slightly better than those two.
Also cheaper than the NF and a March.
It's a tank, if you need to make weight.

I have two NF 8 x 32s, one 12 x 42. I had a NF 15 x 55 comp sold it for a K10 x 50 and have since bought another K10 x 50. To my eyes the Kahles is better than the 15 x 55 comp. The 32 and 42 were better than the 55. The colour of the reticle was too pale and got lost on the target.

I’ve shot from 100 to 1000 yards with a Sightron 8-32x 56 with good results.
This year I went to a 10-50x60 Sightron with 1/8 click turret for mainly 1000 yard competition.
Motivated by the difference in $$ I have no regrets at all.

I've tried a lot of scopes and keep going back to NF Comp. That said, all of the top brands work well. I say the Sightron SIII comp is the best scope for the money if you're on a budget. I currently am shooting the Sightron SV ED on a rifle and love the fine focus knob on it. Great glass too. Vortex GE is also great for the money. Sightron SIII has heavy reticle lines. GE has very fine lines. The fine lines didn't suit my aging eyes as well but would be preferred by many.

Not true
I will likely never buy another NF scope due to my experience with their customer service department.
March, on the other hand has fantastic customer service!

I have to agree with you on that one...... After 5 comps. and them not trying to fix a record setting NF 12-42 x 56in the shop a total of two hours and sent it back saying nothing is wrong, I'm done with them and what they make...... jim
