Loading bench versatile mounting

I have over the last 25+ years I've built a good many loading benches without ever finding the "perfect" versatile setup. Well, this time, I think I have found a way to add a great deal of versatility. I purchased several old cabinets from the local county road and bridge and began by sandblasting them and gave them a fresh coat of paint. Next, I used 1 bottom layer of 3/4" plywood and added another 3/4" inch oak plywood top and mixed in some 1x6x3/4" and 1x4x3/4" boards. I mounted the top and thought maybe I would do something different with mounting my presses, measure and so on. I routed out two 3/4" wide slots to install some t-track. I then acquired some aluminum Z bar for my mounts, cut it to the lenghts I needed and milled some mounting slots in it. I think I finally found the solution to my many years of bench woes. The bolts that mount to the t-track are just standard 3/8" dia and the heads fit great into the track and the knobs work very well and hold plenty good. I am waiting on another section of t-track and it'll be finished and I am certain plenty strong for the uses intended. Just thought I'd share for any others that might find themselves wanting something more friendly.

The guy, Galvin I think, has a setup like this on his bench. He and his plans can be located at Ultimate Reloader. Probably find using Google.

How often do you move your presses? I have always mounted my presses solidly on the reloading station. The trimmer is also permanently mounted on the face of the station. My scales are kept covered and in an overhead cupboard when not in use. Doe you really change locations of equipment enough to need a track setup?

Well I find with not enough bench top space, I'm mounting my trimmer and my powder scale as needed. My press IS stationary as is my powder measure. All my other gadgets are in and out. This new rail system is nice.

I was always bumping my elbows into my presses on my loading bench when trying to work on something other than reloading, so I decided it was time to make my presses "Quick Change" in an attempt to free up valuable bench space. I uploaded a YouTube video of the finished product.

Here's where the presses are stored when not in use.
