    I think if you want to shoot heavy loads in 357 a Model 28 is the way to go. N frame 357.

    I had one of these. My favorite out of the 3 44 mags I had. I don't really miss them, but they were nice. I've kinda turned into a .40 guy. Still like my revolvers.

    I don't shoot .44 Magnums very much. An occasional .44 Special out of it. Revolver wise I put more 38 Wad Cutters through my .357s. The 28 and the 27 are the same N Frame guns with different finishes. The 28 is a great "Shooter", including with the heaviest of loads.

    Dan Wesson SS 8" vent heavy barrel. Ruger makes a fine 357 in SS.
