Made contact with IOR in Texas.
Rep gave me a story about IOR sending a "boat load" of repairs to the factory.
The boat is due back "next week".

I was told the reason my emails were not ans. was the address on the website is invalid.
The new address he gave me bounced back also.

Last time I was this annoyed I was kicked out of a hardware store and told not to come back.

I am too old for this.

Cousin borrowed when returned, 3yrs later, the elevation turrent had been screwed out and a screw in the turrent locking ring was missing.
I wanted the turrent repositioned to center and a screw replaced in the locking cap.
A 20 min. job for a a journeyman in the repair dept.

They had to send it back to Romania for this? Valdata must have someone in the US doing repairs.

The only email from IOR indicated the scope was being sent to the factory for an ESTIMATE of repair cost.

Had not planned on selling...BUT ... How about buying it at 1/2 book value and assume the recovery process taking ownership when the "boat" arrives. If that works out I have some Bernie
    Madoff stock left.

That's too bad their customer service is that shoddy, everything I've read about these scopes says they are second to none.

With such great reviews on their product, it is surprising that there customer service is so whimsical.

Out of curiosity, how long has your scope been MIA? I was amazed on the other thread when 18 months was mentioned by @DOGCAPPER. That is far beyond piss poor customer service.. Shame on them.

Our loyal readership should all know of this before making a purchase.

Every time I catch myself interested in IOR I remember a forum post from frank on snipershide which basically said good luck your on your own, they will break and you will not like the ride.
