You need a pair of our replacement screws. With light tension it will hold a 22lb rifle and be very smooth. Yes, you can adjust your tension. We use belleville spring washers rather than the little coil springs in the Farley originals.

I'm proud to say our sales on our rest tops are up over 400% for this time of year. I really appreciate it.
One of our older models holding Michael Kavanaugh's rifle. He is a great stock painter.

I highly recommend these as a replacement for those crap ones that come from Farley. It's like night and day once you replace them.

Thanks Jim, they do make a world of difference. Must be a lot of Farley's out there as I've sold about 1,000 pairs of tension screws for them.

Butch do these work in the newer Farley's, mine is 1 1/2 years old and doesn't hold in upper most position. It drops a little over 1".

Butch I placed my order and I still can't get over your trusting soul, I don't know of many if any vendors that will ship before payment. My check is written and in a envelope and I would of made the trip to the PO but we are in the mist of a SNOW- ICE event (snowing at about 2-3 inches per hour) so it will go out tomorrow.
    Thank you

Thank you. Hopefully I won't get starved out before your weather clears enough. I'm not worried.

These are the way to fly if any of you guys own a Farley. When I bought my used Farley, my smith told me to contact Butch. He was correct. A very nice upgrade.

Butch the check went out Wed. morning regular mail. Roads and driveway were solid ice until around noon so after trying to clean up driveway the mail man was on the street just gave it to him.

Butch I just put these in and they do not thread in as far as what was there, should I put a lock nut on them or use as they are?
Now remember mine is a Farley II, approximately 2 years old.
Everything holds when set (no more drop at the top with rifle on the rest.

I have used these in multiple Farley rests, a great addition IMO.
