Ideas for 15x scope?

Looking for a 15x scope to use on an AR turn the AR tactical F-class discipline. Are there any excellent fixed 15x scopes out there? Or variables that still look good when theyre on max magnification?

Looking at the nightforce 3.5x15, but its a pricey piece of kit.

I run a Nightforce 3.5 x 15 NXS with the MOAR reticle. Been running it on a couple of different steel shooting rifles for the last 5 years and it has tracked perfectly up to 32 min and back many hundreds of times. Optical quality is great although not as good as the ATACR models. The MOAR reticle is great for holding and has 30 min of elevation in this model.

For $200(on sale this week) the SWFA 10x42 Mil-Quad is hard to beat. My 16 year old son shoots NRA Mid-Range Tactical Rifle(AR) out to 600 yards. The 12x would be a good option also....but the price is currently slightly higher.

I'm using a Primary Arms 4-14 R-Grid 2B. I really like this scope. I zero at 100 yards using the Chevron(^) and come down 5 clicks(1/2 Mil) using the "Dot" just below the Chevron when shooting Mid-Range Prone(AR). This scope is just under $300.

If you ever decided to upgrade....you could always put one of these on a .22 Trainer. I use my old 10x SWFA on a 10/22 for my 6 year old to train with.

The old Weaver kt15 scopes work well.

I've used a couple of KT-15s for silhouette and prone - I find the movement on them to be very repeatable. Good scopes.

How about a Fixed 16X . The Old M8 Leupold 16x or the Newer Leupold Mark 4 16X . The Old Weaver T-16 which has better Optics / Resolution than the KT-15 IMO . Never used the SWFA ( can't remember if it is 15X or 16X , but read reports that it Tracks well ) . I think IOR had a 16X which had great Optics . Don't know anything about F Class but if you have to Dial a lot , the M8 Leupold might be a pass .

I have a 12X and 2 20X SWFA's. I shoot steel with the 20's and Grass Rats with the 12X all three have excellent tracking. have used one of the 20's over 4 years now and now a problem.

Guys, the (new) rules say 15x max. That is why he asked for 15x... not 16x, not 20x.

I gave away a kt15 Weaver, it was actually a decent scope. I just didn't need it and the guy I gave it to is kind of comical. If you don't have fun in life, whose fault is it? He is great but just a tightass like you wouldn't believe! They have steel tube and plastic AO. An in between of the old el paso and more modern. Just made for a couple of years.
