And a dorm-sized fridge for a stash of pistols if the job requires close up problems.

Make a cut out inside a hard bound book. Cookbook in the kitchen, whatever appropriate elsewhere.

In the pocket on the side of the recliner where most people put the remote and the TV guide.

Get a safe. There is no moral substitute for a safe if you own a gun.

Under a shirt or towel on any flat surface in the house.... Like on a table within reach of the front door. Looks like someone just set a towel down...If someone wants to kick the door open on you, you won't be wishing you had it in a safe!

Wrap it up in the help wanted section of the news paper. That'll at leask keep the liberals away from it.

Besides the bedroom when you are asleep, the most vulnerable place in your house is the bathroom. Imagine sitting there doing your business or taking a shower and someone breaks in. With the fan and shower running you may not even hear them until it's too late to do anything or get to your firearm. People usually let their guard down and feel safe in their own homes. I try to keep a weapon within reach wherever I happen to be.

I'll bet there's guys that could make a pistol look like a spatula or tv remote. Just make sure you use the right one when flipping your pancakes or changing to channel.
