Like Varget did a few years back, H4350 has become the fad powder to use in the 6.5 Creedmore which itself has become the fad caliber of choice to shoot 1000 yds.

Then to add to the perfect storm, new restrictions on amount of powder that can be shipped onboard a cargo ship had the effect of reducing supply.

I just bought 10 pounds of it last week, and it's been in stock at Recobs for probably 10 days until a couple of days ago.

Reloading Unlimited had a bunch last week also.

If you live and breath searching for it, it's out there.

RW, I, like many others, & yourself have had a hard time trying to find H4350!! I've felt your 'pain'!!! A few years back, it was H1000, everyone wanted it (Myself included) for our 300 Win Mags & other calibers.... Now, recently, I had a new 6x47 Lapua built on a Remmy 700 action. And, of course, those calibers LOVE H4350!! I was getting pretty nervous with only a couple 1#bottles left on my shelf. Then, lo & behold I checked a local gunshop ( N. Central Idaho), & to my total surprise they had an 8# jug, & several 1# bottles in stock!!!! I jumped on the 8# jug!!!! but, I must admit, I had to pay a pretty high price for it!!!!!! We'd all love to see a "Boat-Load" come our way again!!!!! Good Luck with your search, Hopefully, you'll stumble onto some soon!

H4350 is starting to show up in my neck of the woods in 1# bottles, but the price is shocking. I still have about 11# but it is the powder for 6.5 Creedmoor and 140 gr match bullets. Hope the price starts down like other powders before I have to get more.

I paid $187 two weeks ago. $292 is theft.

You think you guys got it tough, we make the bloody stuff here in Australia and we pay $375 AUS or more for a 4kg (just under 9lb). (Mind you some years ago our Govt. Sold the factory to the French). Now I believe the powder is made by the Australians, owned by the French, and distributed by Winchester to our local market.

The French should stick with pastries and wine. Leave gunpowder alone.

And you think you got it tough, most Hogdons powders and a few IMR powders will be bannned from entering Europe from 2018!
That should free up at least half a dozen tubs for the good ole U S of A :)
