One of my friends shot a 50 at the last KO2M last year. Bullet was over 900gr at I believe over 2800 fps. They have a weight limit there that has recently been lowered. Now that I have a place that we can shoot 2400yrds, I might be building myself a big boomer. It won't have a 56" barrel though!

That would be Garrett Favre. I shoot with Ed, Jeff, and Garrett a fair amount. Kirk too when he was in WI.

I, too, am acquainted with Garrett. His last name is Fravert. I believe he was shooting an 802gr CE bullet, but not 100%, as I was unable to make the FCSA WC at Raton Last year. He came in 5th shooting his 50 BMG in the KO2M, which is awesome. If you see him soon, tell him Big Jim says hello, and shoot straight ;)
