Great shooting guys
Just made it home a few minutes ago and wanted to say thank you to the whole crew at deep creek, you guys put on a great match with a great group of shooters and even greater group of people. Can’t wait to get back there in August.
9 hours and 5 minutes to my home in SD, forgot to set my odometer when I left the range but it was 693 miles from the Cenex station on Reserve St. just off the interstate.
Enjoyed shooting with you, looking forward to shooting an NBRSA match with you guys next year!
A little over 1 hour and 20 minutes from the range to my house, so I feel your pain.
So last year the trip was 33 hours...one way. I’m not going to make it out this year but my wife wants to do a vacation “Out West” next year so we plan on hitting a match at Deep Creek while out that way. I had a blast last year. Great people and a beautiful place to shoot. All of you that are able to make the matches on a regular basis are extremely fortunate. I’m jealous every time I see results posted.
I mirror your post, our drive was 34 hours one way and we enjoyed shooting there very much. Great bunch of guys and gals there. Hoped to make it back this year but unfortunately it’s gonna be next year. Can’t wait!!
Torge thanks as usual for keeping folks informed as to our weekend Results. Another weekend with some relay based train wrecks. Momma nature keeps making us dig "deep" to not loose shots with here casual ways..
Got home last night from seven productive days in Montana, the Daughter got her well drilled and hit good water at 27 feet!
I ran underground power to my cabin in Libby on Thursday, Friday I drove to Deep Creek for Saturday’s event, Sunday I built a set of beam steps at the cabin and started on the bathroom plumbing’ from there I parked my skinny butt on the front porch with a cup of coffee and enjoyed one hell of a view. Monday I bought a new wood stove ( had my SIL haul it ) .
Lots of good food and day dreaming now to analyze Saturday targets and hopefully improve my shooting.
Thanks again to all the fellas
