Interesting that you say that. When asked, all the greats, from the Beatles, to Mayall, and Clapton, say their greatest influence was BB King.
If you look at the lyrical structure of some of the early Beatles' music,it very much follows that of American Blues. Songs like "SHE LOVES YOU", and I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND COME TO MIND"
