Discussion in '6mm, 6.5mm, and .25 Cal (Not 6BR)' started by Corjack, Nov 17, 2019.
Snagged this picture off of Facebook. Anybody else know about these?
Cool, thanks for sharing.
If those BC numbers are valid it isn’t bringing anything new to 6mm. Barnes 112 and DTAC 115 are both .620. This isn’t much better than 105 hybrid
The meplat area on those 109s sure look great!!!!!! Very very small and consistent! Did not get to measure! They shot pretty good in high winds!
I thought the same thing. Their 105 hybrids are a great seller and you need to bring it to beat those.
4g heavier and a little higher B.C. People will still try them.
Bergers biggest complaints were their tips, maybe they are cleaning them up on all future bullets.
Betting they will come out with some more in different weights and dia. with cleaner tips.
Though the Berger's may cost a little less, I think these would be a hard sell over the new Hornady 110gr A-Tip with it's .604 G1 / .304 G7 BC
Thinking they will be perfect in a 7.5 twist
I guess these are a replacement for Berger’s 108 target, now discontinued.
108 grains BT discontinued? These bullets shot better than any 105( hybrid or VLD) in my Dasher and 6 BR.
Same here. They shoot great in my Dashers!! Hope there is no truth to having them discontinued?
the Sierra 6mm 110Mk has a G1 BC of .617. Look at the picture I think Berger has the BC's backwards. G1 should be the .598 and G7 the.292 ????
or is this some spoof on Berger?
I believe you are right except G1 would be .568 based on label
These bullets better be damn good if the rumor is true that 108 is being discontinued. 108 Berger is/was a great bullet.
I am waiting on a Berger Loading Manual 2nd edition. I think its time.
Quite the first post! If true, looks like they already have a quality control issue with their label lol. Wonder what twist is needed?
Better send some samples out to get a die burned.
Until Berger or a Very reliable Source at Berger says something offical I'm not believing this 109 gr. stuff, or that the highly popular 108 gr. Target BT is going away.
People photoshop stuff & create "gray-noise" to stir the pot. - I see No one has yet first hand put their mitts on these unicorn 109's. - Only pic's from the "internet"...….(picture off of Facebook of all places.....)

The Berger 6mm 108gr BT part #24431 (100ct) and 24731 (Qty Pk) are 100% NOT being discontinued. That would be a false rumor.
Berger 109gr LR Hybrid Target samples were handed out by a Berger rep to EVERY competitor during the PRS Finale over the weekend (and yes, they got the sample label specs reversed! ).
I'm curious why folks would react negatively before the first round is fired down range? I would take a consistent BC vs. a high BC all day long. Predictable results is where it's at....that's Berger's bread 'n butter.
It’s hard for me to think of Hornady in the same arena as Berger no matter what the BC says. Just not in the ball park
I am on it.
