This paper punching game is a whole lot different than the steel plate matches that I am use to. I have a lot to learn but was pretty happy with my first match using my new one piece rest, I scored a 247-13X. Plenty of room left for improvement.

What category would that fit in at a club match.
In Our Match category it's all 250's with highest x count being the winner.
The off the shelf cz's with wolf ammo might shoot 247.s

What kind of question is this? I guess not everyone goes to their first benchrest rifle match with a handgun and shoots 250 25x. Maybe one of these days with a lot of practice I will be as perfect as you.

Damn dude, nobody got ugly with you.
You said you wanted to see if it would rally with the rifles. I kinda laid out what my club matches were in score, wondered aloud what class you'd be in.
I could have cut you but didn't.
    God bless your heart !

You could use it in ARA or IR 50/50 unlimited matches. Years ago Ceicle Smith shot an Anschutz pistol some in BR-50 and ARA. Get out there and have fun.

That’s the plan, there were a lot of 1000 yard steel plate shooters that thought it was foolish to use a handgun in their matches too, that has changed. I regularly compete in these matches and consistently finish in the top. 22 benchrest is just another discipline that I will see what my limits are. Win or lose I always have fun.
