This is a (mostly) new rifle built with a few old parts that I had around the shop. Should be awesome for long distance steel and the tactical games... turned out to be a bit heavier than I wanted for a hunting rifle.

The action, barrel, trigger, and bottom metal are new... 17 rounds total on them, test firing and sighting-in.

Action: New custom action - BAT VR (700SA footprint), fully melonited, spiral fluted bolt. You simply won't find a smoother action... this thing is awesome!
Barrel: New Bartlein HV 6.5 chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua, 1:8 twist, muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 with custom thread protector. Finished at 24".
Trigger: New Jewell HVRTS-A with Top Safety, pull weight of 1.5 oz to 3.5 lbs.
Bottom Metal: New PTG Detachable Magazine, includes 1 5-round clip. Magpul 7.62 magazines work fine, even with 140gr Bergers.
Stock: Bell & Carlson stock I've had in my shop for awhile and it has supported a variety of other hardware. It is in good shape and is nicely Devcon bedded for a 700-footprint action. New recoil pad in coordinated green color. It has a fairly deep barrel channel that easily floats the heavy-varmint tapered barrels. Dual front studs plus an integral mount for a Versa-Pod Bi-pod.

$3400 - Shipped to your FFL

I would not call this a beauty-queen -- it was built to be an excellent platform for long-range fun, put together with top-of-the-line components and 'smithing.

    Options:

Scope & Rings: Lightly used Vari-X III Leupold 8.5-25 x 40mm, A.O., Duplex reticle, target turrets, rings are generic picatinny. This scope has lived on a couple of my varmint rifles, but probably has less than 300 rounds on it. Includes original box. Add $500

Versa-Pod Bi-pod + adapter: Lightly used 15-23" model, plus an adapter for mounting on swivel stud for another gun. Add $80

Took 'er out and put a few more rounds through it. Off a bench at 100 yards, 45 degrees, wind 10-15mph left-to-right.

This is just fire-forming some new Lapua brass with Berger 140s, 40.5gr IMR4350. I haven't done any load development at all. Round count is now 26. I'll included the fired brass with the rifle.
