I’m considering adding a Fireform & Prairie dog section to my Website! These would be bullets that didn’t make the cut for competition bullets, but plenty good enough to Fireform or lob at Prairie dogs.

In the past I have simply taken this type of bullet to a recycling plant. But that seems like a waste!

    I’m thinking

    10.00 dollars per 100 6mm 68s.
    15.00 dollars 30 cal
    15.00 dollars per 6mm 105 class bullets.

    Any thoughts or interest!

Bart, I think that is an excellent idea. Jerry Lahr of MN once told me that he did something similar to that and found that many of his "rejects" shot to match grade accuracy. The prairie dogs won't know the difference between a $0.30 bullet and a $0.10 bullet. Good shooting...James

Only problem is when they dont shoot like match bullets theyre barts bullets. If you sold them for $2/1000 and there was visible defects youd still have disgruntled customers wondering why they dont shoot and theyll tell everybody

That’s why they won’t have Barts on the Label and will be marked rejects.

I like not having to sort the 68 originals I have of your....
But at that price I'd sure give my calipers a work out!

And that’s exactly why haven’t done it in the past.

Dusty is right you can measure any way you want but you can’t find the defect.

I think that would be a great deal and Ideal. You would save money and people would still get quality Bullets even though they were rejects. Would say they would shoot better than some manufactures so called 1st. Agree with no label for the whiners.

Besides varmints, what the hell else are you going to do with them. If I'm not shooting varmints I'll be shooting paper. Still would bet they shoot better than some so called 1st.

I’d be interested. Call ‘em Dogger Bullets or some such. I bet they’ll still shoot very well indeed.
