Here is another little gem I have been waiting on for quite some time.
I thought I would share this with you as this one is a little different. This is a Bat S multiflat resting in a reddish orange, Bob Scoville stock. This is a LV rig. What makes this rig different is that the keel on this rifle is changeable. With the new sporter rules in place, I can legally use a straight bottom keel. With the straight keel the rifle recoils straight back, thus allowing the shooter to spot the impact. This is a nice feature, but I wouldn't go as far to claim there is any real advantage that I can see at this time. I have put and round 200 rounds on this new rifle since receiving it last week. I like the flat keel, but I find myself shooting the standard tapered keel the most.
I chambered a new LV taper Krieger barrel for it, and added another one of Gene Buckys tuners. Seems to be a real solid platform thus far. The stock tracks extremely well, and recoil feel different with this new stock compared to some of my older scoville rifles. Hard to explain, but it just feels better.
Anyway here are a couple pics for your viewing pleasure. The color was supposed to be orange and black, but I think you will agree the color is more red. In the sunlight you can see the orange, but in my shoot room its red. You can tell me what the color looks like if you so please.
