Where can I get a aluminum butt plate
I got my last one at Kelbly, I think.
Little sanding, you can make one from stop sign...
Whoever made your stock will have them
The rifles that I sold had Mcmillan stocks. They couldn't supply me w/an aluminum plate or recommend a vendor. I finally
had one made locally. I never found anyone on line that even sold a close to fit blank. LDS
Tom Meredith, TM Stockworks.
check out this mcmillan buttplate
Hey as much as you put into painting that stock, it would be easy to get a piece of aluminum and make a butt plate.
HOZ53 You are so right. I called my son and he's going to cut one out of 1/2'' aluminum on the waterjet and I'm going to shape and polish it. What was I thinkin. ;}

Great that’s even easier than I thought.
I've made these for my last few builds. Much easier to fit, albeit, this one isn't perfect...and it saves almost an ounce of weight, fwiw.
what is the material??
For which stock?
I'm going to make one for my rattlecan stock ;}
I like that. I have tons of CF laying around, I should make myself some.
