Hello all, I've done a lot of reading the last few days and can't find any solid info on what freebore to use with the XC and 110 smk's. Anybody have experience with this combo and what freebore to use to keep the bearing surface above the neck-shoulder junction?

I have a barrel stub I ran my XC II reamer in with .120" freebore, so I just checked for you with 110 Sierra, the bearing surface is about 1/3 the way into the neck. Literally about perfect to my liking. I wouldn`t go any shorter than .090" or any longer than .120". I took a picture, but have not found a new photo hosting site since photobucket went down.

Thank you sir, appreciate the information! One last question. With that .120" freebore what is your COAL with the 110? I need it to be under 2.800" to fit in a magazine.
