6MM GRINCH Defeats entire Field of 6PPCs

The Grinch took the 2 Gun this weekend at St Louis Missouri. Greg King piloted his 6MM Grinch for the win! Conditions were fairly light on Saturday but were a bit rougher at 200 on Sunday! It's way too early to trumpet the demise of the 6PPC, however it looks like the Grinch can hold its own. Actually 3 of the top 10 were were shooting the Grinch ( Greg King, Brett Stroud and myself Bart Sauter)

Congratulations to Greg King for his fine win!

Bart,
I hope this is a start of,how the Ginch stole benchrest.

Is this as much hassle as fireforming 6BR LAPUA to Dasher? Or, can I just shoot a standard BR round and it fireforms?

From what I understand it's Grendel based, necked down, blown forward with 40 degree shoulder, fireforming required. Probably more hassle than Dasher to fireform and when you're done you have a case that's only got capacity of about a 6BR. May be great for short range but out longer you'd probably want the extra velocity of the Dasher.

We get velocities of 2950, 2960 pushing a 105 gr bullet out of this case. Maybe it's just me but that's not to bad.

But what's case life at those speeds? Talking with a few 2920 seems to be the sweet spot for the 105's in the Grinch.
That is true I was just saying it's capable of it. On case life we are not sure we have reloaded them 8-10 times and still using them.
