600/1000 yard benchrest scopes?

Go on the IBS website and look at the long range results from different shoots. There is a page with the shooters and their equipment. Read around and you will soon get your answer.

On the less expensive end the NF BR 12-42, Sightron 10-50, and Vortex GE are very good options. March 10-60 and Kahles 10-50 on the upper end.

In the last few years, I have had Leupold 35 and 40's on my rifles. They were switched out to March 10-60x52's. They were switched out to March High Master 48's which were finally switched out with several Kahles 10-50's. I can be rather critical as far as brightness, clarity, resolution and the feel and accuracy of adjustments are concerned. Each of the earlier scopes(I generally have 2 if not 3 of the same scope) was changed out for a reason, be it tracking, optical quality, resolution or something else. With these Kahles 10-50's, I have yet to find a weakness. I love the scopes but everyone is different.

Dave.

I heard’ the newest Sightron fixed power scope was really good.
Now I just heard it again.
Nice..

So does no one use the 34 mm Leupold 7x35 or 7x42?
Looks like March and NF has the lead opinion wise here.
I looked thru some results as recommended
NF is popular.

Another tip, buy a scope checker and use it often....
I've never put any stock in this before, this past weekend we had a UBR match at 200 and 300 meters, my first relay I shot the only 64 posted for the match, but the 2nd -4th relay I was in the 50s. Granted I'm new (2nd year) but dang it sucks to not trust your equipment or be able to read the wind!! (probably my biggest problem). I have a 2nd NF C513 that I'm thinking of putting on this gun just for giggles and seeing what it does or if I just suck at wind reading.
