I some in the prs game an no one has reported any feeding issues to me, yet anyhow. AW mags seem to be the most common, some use the primal rights spacer kit others dont. The stock extractor will be iffy, but a mini16 or sako is an easy fix. Thanks for the vid.

The BRA is the only thing I've been able to get the ARC mags to feed.

Thanks for posting the video. I was thinking about building a 6BR AI for long range steel shooting and wondered how the 6BR AI would feed.

I would recommend what I am using here. Great price point and very reliable. PTG M5 Stealth bottom metal and PMAG AICS Mag.

my Tac 30 will feed the 6BRDX from AICS mags fine,,it will shoot and extract fine,,it is the ejection of a fired case that leaves me frustrated,,it will eject a loaded round just like this video but a fired case now and then will spin around backwards and gum up the works and leave you having to dig it out,,

I went back to the 6.5x47L and havent tried the PMags or the Primal Rights..

The BRA is the only thing I've been able to get the ARC mags to feed.

Same here, I removed the 'wings" on the ARC mag to keep it from jambing down.
I'm running a Kelbly's Atlas with Surgeon bottom metal. Gunna take some
muscle memory on the Kelbly with the mechanical ejector.

Is your mini 16 extractor claw clipped? If it is replace it with one thats not.

I might look into it when I need another bbl,,but for my use from this rifle the 6.5x47L with 130 VLD`s works really really well,,

feeding is not the issue with the 6BR case in a Rem 700, its the loading and ejection!:

1) The short case results in the mag follower spring not giving enough upward pressure at the front of the case, so they dive down when loading.
2) Ejecting is often an issue with them falling off the ejector claw due to the acute angle and loss of pressure from the plunger.

Havn't found a reliable fix for 1), 2) can usually be sorted.

I am putting together a new build. The reciever is an Defiance Deviant tactical. It will most likley be chambered as a Norma 22 Dasher, which of course is based on the 6 BR parent case. The magazine feeding is the one part of the build that is an unknown to me. This is going to be a tactical rifle in an MPA chassis running 10 round mags so I need the rig to run fast with no issues. The stages are not very long on time and feeding issues will knock a guy out if he runs into problems. Anyone with experience with a rig like this I would welcome their input, as I have not puchased any magazines yet.

Kelbly Atlas Tactical (comes standard with AW magazine cut), unmodified AICS magazine, 22BR with 40gr Nosler Ballistic Tips. The Atlas has a TG static ejector instead of a plunger ejector, so ejection is flawless. I've never tried a 10-round magazine, though.
