I 've been making this VLD & TANGENT on BR quality jackets bullet for over 5 years and it has generated very little interest. I believe maybe the long range shooters are thinking this is a little overweight for a 6.5. However, some of the 500 meter steel ram shooters have shown some interest.

    I'll share Bryan's report with any interested shooter. 6.5-155gr VLD.JPG bcbullets@sbaglobal.net

Bob, you had sent me Bryan's report for your bullet a while back and I think it said an 8.2 twist would be ideal. I tried it in an 8-twist 6.5-284 and just couldn't get the results I was hoping for. Could certainly be that barrel just didn't like them. I'm trying them in a 6.5 WSSM Ackley with a 7.25 twist right now and I really like what I see so far. Apples to oranges, but thought I'd let you know that they are looking real good at 1,000 in that faster twist with hardly any load development. As soon as I get my Whidden dies and try them out in the formed cases, I'm guessing I'll be looking for another 1,000. :)

I tried to send an email and it gave me a message that it couldn't be delivered... I'm interested. Is a 1-7.25 the recommended twist for them?
