Silvia Sperber (West Germany), 20yrs ago shot a 592 3P half course, and Margaret Murdock Thompson, and Karen Monez used nothing but the same 1407 standard rifle. All are the greatest of shots, winners time and again. A young person doesn't have to fiddle with all the possible adjustments of a current free rifle stock. Newton

Don't know if you would be interested.

I have a 2007 in a 2018 precise stock. Less than 400 rounds through it.
Have extra butt, bore guide and dry fire firing pin with it.

Bought it two years ago, but only shot some practice and one outdoor prone match.

    Just like new.

Drop me a line if interested.

Your stock choices are good if you are stuck on an Anschutz but I would caution you to avoid the XX13 series barreled actions due to their weight. Most kids struggle with them for 3P.

I agree. I cut my 1413 bulb to 20" and installed a 10" sight tube for my son. I shit it as well and the lesser weight didn't decrease my scores at all.. you can always add weight to the friend later on.
