.308 SUBSONIC loads?

I have a barrel that will be in soon for one of my bolt guns, from what I have read trailboss powder is used all the time?

The barrel is 1:10, what grain bullets is everyone running for subsonic loads? I know they are heavier than 175's.... I plan to try to use a less expensive hunting bullet than bergers for the subsonics...


What kind of accuracy do yall see with subsonic 308 loads at 100 yards?

150gr Sierra SPT, 10gr TrailBoss, consistent sub 1moa @ 75 yards (rain, sleet or snow), out of 1 in 12 twist, very quiet.

Subsonic anything but 22 match at a hundred will be lucky to shoot 2 MOA . I read the posts above me, but I have heard about 2 mile shots with a 338 and dashers pushing 105s at 3400 . Trail boss is about as clean as a 3 dollar hooker covered in bum nuts ......... You will have to scrub your barrel with penicilin after all range sessions .
