Yes, if you have a disability and cant shoot prone you can use the bench, but you still have to shoot it from a foldable bipod in hunter class.

Screw you guys! I'll agree to those terms if you both stand down range and hold the targets up for me by hand. Hope the new Kahles holds zero as good as Tom says they do. LOL!

Its looking like the weekend after the nationals, Aug 18/19. It will be in Townsend Mt. I am just waiting for winter to break so I can get out there and shoot this range to be sure there are no unknown issues that arise before making it official. But everything looks like a go.

Things are getting more solid. Dates will be Aug 16, 17, 18, and 19th. The 16th and 17th are open range practice days. There is steel out to 2400 yards and we can hang targets at 2k. There will be camping at the range as well as another camp ground 4 miles away on the river. It will be at the indian creek range. http://www.brgcmt.com/indian-creek

Thank You for that update - Great to hear. - I also am looking forward to this event & the IBS Nationals. I'm excited enough that the 2200 mile drive from So. Central La. will be made & I'm planning on making this a 2 week stay up in the Big Sky Country !!

There is a quonset hut immediately to the rear of the firing line, there is also a covered portion that covers the benches used at 100 yards. Vault toilets, but no running water. Town of Townsend is only 3.25 miles from that range on a 2 wide dirt road, so no 4 wheel drive required. We currently have 12 permanent concrete benches on site. I will also bring my EZ-UP.

The Indian Creek Range is also ADA compliant. We are fairly proud of that, not a lot of 2000+ yard ranges that can say that.

That should give you an idea of the range layout a little bit. Ignore the 9 year old shooting the 560 target off a tripod, it was meant so you could see the covered 100 yard line, although some of the 2000 yard targets can be seen from certain benches.

Canyon Ferry lake is 5 miles from the range and some say the fishing is good, I don't fish without a bow, so I can not attest to that. I can work on getting some prairie dog spots?
