Anyone using this combo with 180s?

I have been trying to get H4831SC with the 180g bullets to shoot and I have not had much luck. I tried H4350 today and it tightened right up for me at 300 yards then again at 600 yards.

I was wondering if anyone has had similar results?

    Thanks for your input.

    It's a favorite for many .284 shooters.

    Thanks guys.

I settled at 52.1g, does that sound in the ballpark?

My notes show ~2845 for that charge in 31". How does that agree with yours?

I like h4350 in 284 best myself, 52 gr would be a bit much in north Texas for my rifle.

It is my go to powder for 284 Shehane and 180s. I try H4831sc in each new barrel, but always go back to H4350. I run between 52-53gns in a Shehane, where most use between 51 and 52gns in a straight 284, for somewhere around 2830 fps.
