Can’t give specific loads, but H1000, RE25 BMG50, US869 & RE33 should all work to give the highest velocities with 140gr+ pills.
I run RE25 & RE33 in mine, am playing with RETUMBO as we speak. Looks promising also so far.

    Cheers.

If you need brass, hunting bullets or factory loaded ammo, PM me. I also have Reloader 25 and US869 powder in Robeson Township PA.

Tried IMR7828ssc, H1000, IMR4350, 7977 and finally RL33. Best of the bunch was RL33. 142 LRAB @ 3250. Start at 72.5 and work up for your rifle.

My first long range match rifle had a 28" 264 Win Mag barrel. Best load was 72 grains of H870 under Norma 139 gr. Match bullets. Tested about MOA at a thousand and won some matches with it.

Barrel lasted 640 rounds. Died over last several shots at a 600 yard match. Started out sub MOA for first 6 or 7 shots then opened up to about 4 MOA for the next few and stayed there.

Throat had advanced about 1/10th inch and last bullets held by about 1/16th inch of their body for the .010" jump that seemed best.

Should have one ready by the time I get back home from work. I preloaded some load development ones with RL 22 and 140 Berger Hunting bullets seating them long, will adjust seating depth when I get it. Has anyone used RL 22?

Hi bud! I've got savage w/ a 28" shilen select match barrel. I've tried most of the powders mentioned, and they all produce better velocities than mine. However, 55gr. Hybrid 100v produces 3000fps w/ a 140 berger target vld. Base to ogive measures 2.867 and use CCI 250 @ about .003 off the rifling. Shoots 1" @ 400 yards. Love it

I think I would trade it for a 6.5/06. You will save lots of money on barrels and powder.

Retumbo with 130 Accubonds runs 3350 fps out of my 9" twist 27 3/4" Shilen barrel with Sub MOA accuracy. If this is going to be a hunting rifle pick a good bullet like the Accubond or another bonded or mono bullet that will work close in as well as far off. Don't waste barrel life by trying a bunch of bullets and powders trying to find that last thousand of an inch accuracy and don't shoot it until it is hot and the rifle will last you a life time. In my 47 years of experience shooting high power rifles I have learned that if you shoot a 7mm Rem mag. until it is hot like those who do that say the 264 Win mag is a barrel burner the 7 Mag barrel will be toast with about the same round count.

My bullet is Hornaday 129 gr. spire point. I used to use H450 with very good groups. Now I use IMR4831. Wish they would come back with H450.

Hi guys. New to this forum. I've Been doing some work with the 264. To the OP, I've gotten H4831 and a 143 ELDX to about 3150 fps where it pressured out on me, same bullet and H1000 to 3200fps, but again too much pressure. Best groups with my gun and those powders were right below those speeds. For the H4831 best groups were at 3100 fps. For the H1000 best groups were at 3150fps.

I really want to shoot these 143's at 3200 fps.
Anyone using Rl26 or Retumbo with 143 gr ELDX? That's where I'm heading next. I have a factory Sendero, using Winchester brass and federal 215M primers.
