Is registration open? If not, is there an anticipated date when it will become open. Thanks in advance.

that’s weird! PJ told me they were having it but they’re going to shoot one 60 shot match per day.

PJ told me they were doing it as two 120 shot strings in 30 minutes to save time and get done in one day. I am not sure if I will need a new barrel before or just after, or both.

That's funny. He told me he'd been authorized to sell mulligans for this years match; $50 pre-pay price, or $75 day of. Limit 5 per shooter per day.

I finished reviewing the match program last week. We are discussing a few things so it's not out yet. Just hold your horses, you already have the dates. We should get this going in a bit.

    Only for State matches.

“E-Targets will not be used at the TSRA 2020 Long Range Championship. Bayou Rifles has determined that the current system used by Bayou Rifles does not meet the NRA .25 inch accuracy standard. Bayou Rifles will continue to work with the manufacture and the NRA to be able to use E-Targets in the future.“

Can someone explain these sections from the match program and what it means in practice in terms of having paid pullers?

"A shooter may furnish their own target puller to satisfy the above target service requirements, but they will be assigned to another shooter."

    and

"All shooters that have provided a paid pit puller will be required to go to the pits except Grand Seniors."

I believe "that in the interest of fairness" someone who paid for a puller of their choice, can not use that puller for fear of bias in scoring. And the second item, shooters who do have paid pullers and DO NOT go to the pits, can watch other shooters and "conditions" while others are in the pits who can't see those conditions. Additionally, it can be a bit tiresome doing 3 matches in the pits, especially when you're 65 years old. However, a "grand senior" can still watch those conditions as well as someone a bit younger. Hence, I think they should go and sit in the pits too in the interest of "fairness".. At least that's what I take out of it..
