  1. Action wall thickness. 40X vs Vudoo

Seeing as Bush is the one who designed and made the Vudoo and had also had a good amount of experience with 40x then he would be a good guy and why I tagged him above. That said why do you want to know? Neither has ever had an issue with action strength. You trying to do something?
  2. Action wall thickness. 40X vs Vudoo

Not saying it’s a version of but just similar in that the 40x was the starting point and then improved upon.
  3. Action wall thickness. 40X vs Vudoo

Which doesn’t even matter also as it’s not like Vudoos fall apart. The Vudoo is just a custom version of the 40x kind of like the custom 700 footprint actions and a standard 700.
  4. Action wall thickness. 40X vs Vudoo

    @RAVAGE88 can you answer that?
  5. Butches bore shine

Not really. If a cleaner cleans then it cleans. Nothing to do with placebo effect.
  6. Which Rifle Action.

    Complete BS. lol
  7. Butches bore shine

Yup I know it does the job and if the OP wants to use it he should give it a try and see for himself if it does what he wants it to do.
  8. Butches bore shine

No idea what it is but it works great. Not just brush lube. It eats away at carbon and copper on its own.
  9. Butches bore shine

Yup. I hesitated but figured I would try to help out the OP as I have used what he was asking about for a long time in my match rifles and see where that got me? lol
  10. Butches bore shine

Hey you do you but I know my way works on the barrels I use and gets them clean.
  11. TPS rings gone I guess

Seekins are excellent. Have used them since 2005 and never an issue. They make the Vortex Precision Matched rings, which are the same ring with a different brand on them. If the Seekins/Vortex are in his price range I would definitely go that route but I thought he was looking cheaper.
  12. Butches bore shine

Butch’s is all I have used for years. This is how I do it and it cleans my barrels up just fine. Push 2-3 wet patches down the bore and then let it work for about 15 min Then use a bore brush with some Butch’s on it for 5-8 strokes Then a dry patch down the bore to push out the fouling Then 2-3...
  13. TPS rings gone I guess

The Vortex Pro series rings are good rings that won’t break the bank. I had TPS in the past and the Pro series is just as good and lower cost than other rings.
  14. 6GT project/range report

Never saw an issue with Hornady brass in many calibers I have used in matches over the years. Use it in the .308, 6 and 6.5 Creed, 6ARC and .223 now and loads accurate ammo.
  15. Which Rifle Action.

It’s the way the round is picked up from the magazine. A CRF the round rim comes up under the extractor as it’s being pushed forward. In a push feed the round is just pushed from the magazine into the chamber. You can single load a push feed but some CRF do not allow it. The Zermatt TL3 and...

As long as you are happy with what you got but the fix it sticks are worth the money. That was my point.
  18. Inch pound tool

They aren’t and make life so easy. The Fix It Sticks are well worth their price.
  19. Vudoo 360 bolt parts needed

There are posts in the Rimfire section of Snipers Hide by Mike with all the info.
  20. Bipod Stop

You can’t do that without something telling you where it’s at? Just draw a couple circles on your carpet and put the legs there.
