Reason to chose Sb die over standard

Unless the reamer was worn out, and a standard FL die doesn't work that well, there is no reason for a small base die. If it works with a regular FL sizing die then there is no need for a small base die, for it will work the brass more than necessary. At the same, a little bit of body...

    .223 WSSM Powders

I would try the 85 gr Sierra gameking HP..#1530.with somewhere around 46 gr. of H-4831sc. It's a extremely accurate bullet good for deer,.and target shooting and varmints as well. Its the best all around .243" projectile. I'm not home till tomorrow. I'll run QL for you when I'm back.

Which 308 brass should I buy

Winchester ! I have Lapua 308win 223rem, 243win & 7mm08 brass and Winchester brass for the same cartridges. The Winchester doesn't give up much if any accuracy compared to the Lapua brass, yet the Winchester brass lasts FOOOORRRREEEEVVVVVEEEEERRRR.

    .223 WSSM Powders

VV-N555 will burn the barrel up quicker than the other powders you have on hand. AA-2700 should work good, tho I've not used it personally, I can give you Quickload prediction with like a 55 gr SP. AA-4350 is another good powder for this combo. But if H-414 / W-760 (same powders) are already...

    Rudolph Optics?

They're probably waiting for a new run to be manufactured and they'll send it to you as soon as they get the new run.

    .223 WSSM Powders

If you can find any of there powders they're what I'd go with if 55 gr bullets are the ones you have in mind... RL-16 H-4350 VV-150 VV-N550 H-4831sc ( Not as fast as others but accurate and good on barrels ) H-414 / W-760 ( if you prefer ball powders ) Hybrid 100V And just about any other...

    Subsonic 223

You're gonna need a very short barrel,... like a 12" shooting 95 smk @ 2.260" coal. Adjustable gas block and Start at 6 gr of Vihtavuori N32C Tin Star and work your way down to 5 gr. or less if it's still too fast. I can't see any other combination that will produce 223 subs. A shorter 8" or...

Alternative to Berger 30 Cal 175 OTM or Long Range Target

For practice and even competition, the Sierra 177 gr SMK is a great choice that won't break the bank and do everything you need out to 1,200 yards. I wish they were more available up here in Canada.

    308 powder selection

Can never go wrong with Varget and H-4895 when it comes to stick powders for the 308win. Ball powders can also work. I personally love Win-748 for plinking with gas guns. H-335 is also a good one.

    243

I have 3 rifles in 243win... a 20", a 22" and 26"... What I said above is only my experience and it can differ depending on barrel steel, and the type of rifling etc. I don't tend to push mine all the way because I'm after the accuracy first and foremost. Then I like long brass life and...

    7x57 at Modern Pressures

Forgot to mention,... Winchester brass can take high pressures like no other,... You would probably not notice any pressure signs until you're around 70,000 psi. I don't see any issues with stability. Just aim and pull the trigger.

    243

243win 20" barrel will be on average 75 fps slower than a 22" barrel shooting 100 gr bullets. Not enough to matter on game.

    Load change after brake/suppressor

I can't speak for suppressors, but with muzzle brakes I never had to re-tune a load and 95 % of the time after slapping on a brake the groups got even smaller.

    Is upper node always better?

I load whatever made the best results back to back. In all my 243win rifles shooting 105/107 gr pills, I can load up to 46 gr of H-4831sc with out any pressure signs,.. while the best accuracy ALWAYS ends up at 43 gr. regardless of type of bullet as long as it's a 105/107 gr. At the same time...

Sierra 243 Win seating depth question

As long as the the bullets are not getting JAMMED (Stuck) in the rifling, you're go too go. Just do a usual load work up and look for pressure signs..
