    ive had this issue it my 6bRs at times. like Fast says for me it was basicaly clickers. i found a 243 size die without much chamfer and it works sometimes. what we really need is a ring die to size the base back down.

    i know people have made relief cuts on barrels in front of the action on the lathe for this reason. so far knock on wood ive never had to. never heard with a hacksaw but im sure its been done and could be done. you would want to cut as close to action face as you could to relieve the tension...

    i never thought much of the 270 either till i bought a gunshow 700 adl cheap for the action and decided to try it out before i pulled the barrel. cleaned the h out ofit and took it out with some sierra 90s . 22" factory barrel shot 3600 plus. pretty good accuracy to. that opened my eyes...

    Edit::::i sure have a heck of alot of mtm boxes but i have a heck of alot more Berger plastic bullet boxes.. lol……Lapua should send their brass in mtm style plastic boxes like petersen ect. that would be cool.
